The rider sought Gatchalian’s help, saying he and his colleagues were stuck waiting for customers’ orders because the McDonald’s branch lacked staff.
“Mayor patulong naman kaming mga Grab dito sa MCDO SouthS.Market tambak na kami dito,” user @elcrocki said, noting that some had to wait for an hour to claim their client’s order. “Galit pa sa amin yung mga CS namin dahil sa tagal… Hindi na ito Fastfood,” the rider tweeted.
The mayor was equally exasperated because it appears he’s got a new job description.
“Yung Lunes na pati Grab and McDo operations sa akin na pinaayos… From NLEX to PLDT to Converge to Globe to Maynilad to Meralco and now to MCDO,” Gatchalian ranted on Twitter. “Mayor’s issue na din pala eto ngayon ko lang nalaman pasok na pala eto sa job description ko: branch manager of Mcdo.”
