Bohol Governor Arthur Yap has ordered a resort in Panglao to stop its “foam parties” featuring scantily clad models amid a surge in COVID-19 cases nationwide.
Yap has also ordered an investigation as to how Amanzara Resort has been able to operate considering its lack of authorization from the Department of Tourism.
The resort had been bold enough to post advertisement videos on social media, where they showed scantily-clad models parading around the pool and guests seated together just like normal times.
Videos reported by local media The Bohol Chronicle showed a thick crowd dancing and grinding about with no masks or face shields whatsoever, singing the party music at the top of their lungs.
