COVID-19 hits close to home for Aristocrat’s Reyes clan with relatives’ death

The Reyes clan behind the Aristocrat chain of restaurants has lost two relatives in one month due to COVID-19.

The cousin of restaurant heir Raymund Reyes, Ramon, succumbed to the disease in early March. His nephew, Joseph Camacho Reyes, also died on March 25 after being confined at a hospital’s intensive care unit.

Relatives sought for prayers on Facebook for the speedy recovery of Joseph’s wife KC, and their child, who also contracted the virus.

With new active COVID-19 cases in the country reaching close to 10,000 Friday, it’s become more important to stress to everyone the importance of practicing health protocols to avoid contracting the virus.
