A number of his business associates and friends revealed that Angping died at Cardinal Santos Hospital at 3 p.m. on 3 April 2021. He was 66 years old.
The Harvard MBA graduate is the man behind AP Securities (formerly Angping & Associates Securities).
Angping held stakes in publicly-listed mining firms Nihao Mineral Resources (34 percent) and Dizon Copper-Silver Mines (22 percent). He was also affiliated with Geograce Resources and Lodestar Investment.
