Tiu family launches new hotel brand for millennials

Seeking to capture the booming millennial market, Tiu-led Discovery Hospitality Corp. is launching a new brand, Kip & Kin that will combine the disruptive hostel and hotel formats.

DHC, the management company behind the popular Discovery Shores Boracay and Club Paradise Palawan, said the youth-oriented hotel brand is part of efforts to create unique experiences for the hip and tech-savvy travelers.

The new brand will open in major tourist destinations such as El Nido and San Vicente in Palawan, and Siargao.

Targeted for opening in June next year, Kip & Kin El Nido will house 117 hotel rooms and 84 hostel beds offering majestic

The San Vicente property, on the other hand, will be an integrated tourism destination project that will bring to the market 42 new hotel rooms, 136 hjostel beds and two signature restaurants.

Located along General Luna, Kip & Kin Siargao will offer avid surfers and thrill-seekers an unforgettable experience with 34 hotel rooms, 48 hostel beds, and 4 food and beverage outlets.
