‘Pulling away’: GMA slays ABS-CBN as No.1 TV station, rules 2020 with nearly 50% audience share

GMA Network of bilyonaryos Felipe Gozon, Gilberto Duavit Jr., and Joel Jimenez are killing it in the television ratings game with the Lopez family losing its franchise in 2020.

Based on its annual report, GMA lorded over the Nielsen Television Audience Measurement tally board in 2020 with nearly one in two TV viewers locked into the Kapuso channel.

GMA’s national audience share rocketed to 46.7 percent in 2020 from 31.9 percent in 2019.
